One of the most stressful things about buying a new home is relying on other people.

Will you find a buyer? Will your current buyer change their mind? Will your most promising looking buyer suddenly get lost in another property chain?

If you’re planning to move, or you can’t find a buyer – sell your home to us! We could take it in Part Exchange for a superb new home, at an agreed price, saving you all the hassles of chains and delays and saving you estate agents’ fees too!

Step one

By answering a few questions about your existing home - its location, any idea you have of its value and whether it qualifies for our Part Exchange, we can start the ball rolling. You will need to be trading up from your existing property, and the value of the new home you are interested in should be around 30% more than the value or your existing home. Providing our Part Exchange terms and conditions are acceptable to you, our Part Exchange form can be completed and a provisional reservation can be taken on your new Taylor Wimpey home!

Step two

We will arrange for a minimum of two Selling Agents to carry out valuations on your existing home, on our behalf. Our instruction will be for the agents to provide us with an opinion of anticipated selling price - not an asking price. Our own Part Exchange manager may also visit you to get a better understanding of your existing home.

Step three

Once the valuations are back, we will make you a verbal offer for your existing home, confirming this offer in writing. If you agree to our offer, our Solicitors will be instructed and you will need to instruct your own legal advisors as well. Now your provisional reservation on your new Taylor Wimpey home becomes a full reservation!
