About the area
Godregraig has the famed Black Mountains, which merge into the Brecon Beacons, to the north and the ocean of Swansea Bay to the south.
The whole area is criss-crossed with rivers such as the Egel and Dulais that once drove the industrialisation of this part of Wales.They provide dramatic landscapes and breathtaking views, as well as plenty of places to walk, mountain bike or ride

All you need is within easy reach. There’s a convenience store just over a mile and a half away with a baker right alongside; while your nearest supermarket is just over two miles.
For shopping, leisure and entertainment on a grander scale, Neath and Swansea are just a short drive south.

Transport
Getting there is straightforward too, because Glyn Mynydd is well positioned for access to the A4067, A474, A465 and M4 at Junction 45. For rail travel, the station at Neath provides regular services around the surrounding area, while Swansea offers coach station, airport and ferry port.
