MI New Home scheme will make 95% mortgages available once more

MI New Home Scheme

Great news – 95% mortgages are back!

95% mortgages are now available with the Scottish Government supported MI New Home scheme, which means that you may only need 5% deposit to buy your dream new home.

MI New Home is available on brand new properties up to the value of £250,000, and means that first time buyers may now only need to save a 5% deposit before they can get on the property ladder. Home movers with limited equity in their existing house will also benefit from the increase in availability of 95% loan to value mortgages.

If you have a home to sell, you may even be able to take advantage of our Part Exchange scheme when you buy using MI New Home. Part exchange is available on eligible properties, so please ask your Sales Executive for details.

The key benefits of the MI New Home scheme are:

  • You could get a 95% mortgage
  • You will only need a minimum 5% deposit to buy a new home
  • You could use Part Exchange to sell your existing property
  • The scheme is available across all Taylor Wimpey developments in Scotland with new homes up to the value of £250,000
