New home feels like 'fate' for Irchester couple now settled in Overstone

Keith Kelly and his wife Julie originally from Irchester, were looking to move homes to be closer to their family when they discovered our Atrium at Overstone development.

Feeling right at home

When they first discovered the development, they had their eyes on a plot which boasted two en-suites, a double garage and a large garden. Unfortunately, with their home not yet up for sale, the opportunity passed them by.

Months passed and the couple decided to put their home on the market and find a more affordable home in Northampton, when they visited the development again - and to their surprise - the original home they wanted was still available.

Keith explains: “We decided the time was right to now move house and when we arrived at The Atrium, we thought the house that we originally wanted would have been sold by now. We were incredibly shocked to find it was still available. It felt like fate. My wife cried when we walked through the door and at that point we knew it was meant to be.”

Julie’s family are the main reasons for the couple's move as they care for Jason, a foster child, and Carla, their adopted daughter, who both have additional physical needs. Being closer, Keith and Julie are now in a position to help out further.

Keith added: “We purchased the Stanford house, it had a separate dining room, a double garage and two en-suites. It is everything we wanted from a house. The site team also helped change our entrance stairs to a ramp, so our disabled family members could visit our home.

“Neil, Susie, Stuart and Hazera have been incredible after we moved in, nothing a problem. Within hours of an enquiry someone would be at the door helping or putting right anything we had asked about.”

“Overall it’s been a perfect move and an incredible house for the price.”
