Fire safety
It is our view that leaseholders should not have to pay for fire safety remediation works to ensure their buildings are safe and mortgageable. Our priority is to ensure that customers in Taylor Wimpey buildings have a solution to cladding remediation.
Ground rent review
In December 2021, we agreed voluntary undertakings with the Competition Markets Authority (CMA) to address the historical sale of leasehold properties with doubling ground rent clauses, which brought the CMA’s investigation into Taylor Wimpey to a close.
