Settling into life in their new home

Their path led them to the Beacon Green development, a discovery made years prior when the sign announcing its arrival caught their eye. Last spring, while exploring potential relocation spots in Suffolk, their memories drew them to Bacton. Instantly captivated by Beacon Green's charm, they swiftly embraced the opportunity, opting for our Easymover incentive to secure their dream home.

"The Easymover incentive with Taylor Wimpey was really easy," Gillian shared. "Tracey, the Taylor Wimpey sales executive at Beacon Green, kept us informed every step of the way. There was no pressure; everything went smoothly."

Beacon Green

Choosing Beacon Green was a natural decision for the Fox family, drawn by its idyllic village setting and convenient amenities. Nestled amidst picturesque surroundings, the local pub, shop, and post office catered to their everyday needs. Gillian's commute to London became a breeze with Stowmarket train station just a short distance away, offering a pleasant journey enriched by her love for reading.

Reflecting on their move, Gillian remarked: "Beacon Green is the ideal development if you want to be away from a busy town centre but still have all the amenities a short drive away." With Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds within easy reach, the family found ample opportunities for exploration and leisure.

Embracing their new community, the Foxes have joined Stowmarket Golf Club, indulged in family walks and fostered friendships with fellow residents. Gillian's involvement in a local yoga club further enriched their social circle, highlighting the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Bacton.

Gillian and her husband chose the Henley housetype, commenting: “We fell in love with the Henley due to the size of the rooms and the layout of the house. The kitchen has bi-fold doors which is great for entertaining in the summer and all the rooms have large windows which lets in a lot of natural light. Access to the utility room via the garden was a must for us especially when we have been out walking the dog.

“The deciding factor for us was the large study. As my husband and I work at home together on certain days of the week it was really important for us to have a study to house two people without having to sacrifice a bedroom. Plus it is great that we can enjoy the view from the window across the pond and the development, watching the wildlife in between work calls. The Henley was the only house type we found that the study was large enough for two people. It’s also a really nice looking house.”

The family feel right at home, with Gillian commenting: “The Beacon Green development is a lovely looking development set back from the road which is one of the reasons why we chose it. We have never bought a new house before but I would definitely recommend it. Everything is so nice, shiny and new when you move in.”

"In Beacon Green, we've found our sanctuary," Gillian concluded. "It's a place where the pace of life is gentler and the community feels like family. We've fallen in love with it, and we're confident others will too."
