Taylor Wimpey South Midlands is proud to support prostate cancer with sponsorship of charity golf day

The event took place at John O’Gaunt Golf Club in Sandy, and we donated £250 towards sponsorship of the 18th hole. The event was set up in support of The Prostate Project, a charity solely run by volunteers aiming to raise awareness of the existence of prostate cancer, its symptoms and its potential adverse effects.

Jim Kerr, Seniors Captain at John O’Gaunt Golf Club was involved in the organisation of the event. He commented: “The day was a great success and the input from Taylor Wimpey was excellent. I’m glad to say the weather was perfect. It was a fantastic day, good food and great company. We’d like to say a big thanks to everybody that took part in the day."

The event managed to raise in excess of £3,500 on behalf of The Prostate Project and will help to assist the Oncology Cancer Research team at the University of Surrey continue its highly successful work into new novel treatments.
