“We instantly liked the size of Clarence Park, being a smaller development, as we didn’t want to live in a big estate.
“The best thing about the ‘Crofton’ is you get so much more family space – we love the fact that the top floor is dedicated to the master bedroom, the space on this floor in particular enables limitless options to providing a nice relaxing escape at the end of the day
“The staff in the sales office were really helpful and open, giving us every detail about the house – they made it very easy for us to fall in love with the property!
“We really love the position of the house within the development as well – it’s in a nice, quiet corner with no through traffic, so the only cars that come and go are our neighbours or people visiting, which is really good from a safety perspective with Ivy.
“Everything about the Help to Buy scheme was explained really well to us. Without it we would never have been able to afford the property we wanted, as the deposit would’ve been too high. The 5% deposit under Help to Buy made it manageable and achievable for us, which was fantastic as this is our ‘forever home’ – we don’t plan on moving again!
“The whole buying process was thankfully very straightforward. We reserved in August and moved in during November, which gave us enough time to get everything in place, while Taylor Wimpey kept us well informed throughout. It was great to buy the house we wanted at an affordable price.
“We’ve settled in really nicely – our neighbours are great and everyone’s very welcoming. It has a lovely feel about it and the place already feels like home even though we’ve still got some boxes lying around that haven’t been unpacked yet!
“We really like that it’s a short walk into town without actually being in the town centre, while the local schools all have good reputations. I work in Aylesbury which is just half an hour away, while David is a driver and works all over, but he’s back in time to pick up Ivy from the local nursery so we have a great work-life balance. The road connections are very good here, as we’re a central point between Milton Keynes, Oxford and Bicester.
“We can’t praise Taylor Wimpey enough for their response to any snagging issues we’ve had – everything has been resolved within 24 hours. Cheryl in the office has been superb, checking everything for us and nothing is too much hassle for her.”
