Community benefits from the development

Wingerworth Junior Sports Association (WJSA)’s U6s have scored a £250 sponsorship from housebuilder Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire. The funds will go towards providing a new kit for the team, ensuring the players are equipped for success on the pitch. Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, which has a nearby development at Hunloke Grove in Wingerworth, responded to a call for support from the club.

Ross Clarkson, sales director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, said: “We are always eager to support local communities and encourage youngsters to stay active, so when we were approached by Wingerworth FC for help with funding new kit for their under-6s, we were delighted to offer our backing. “It is great to see the team in their new Taylor Wimpey-sponsored outfits and we wish them the best of luck for this season.”
