Right on the cliff top in the very heart of Bournemouth, Coast is a stroll away from all that’s great about living here.
A walk, a jog or a cycle ride along the Promenade is a great way to start every day, while a stroll through the Lower Gardens puts you in the centre of the action, for shopping in the daytime or evening entertainment for all tastes. Throughout the summer, there are free events, concerts and attractions along the Promenade, at the Pier Approach and along the Gardens to the Square –all on your doorstep.
One of the major attractions of Bournemouth as a place to live is that it borders so many other beautiful locations.
To the east, the wonders of the Jurassic Coast. To the west, the glorious New Forest. Closer to home is the parish of Christchurch with its magnificent Priory which dates back to Norman times and the bustling port of Poole, with its historic Quay, vast natural harbour, secretive Brownsea Island and world famous Sandbanks peninsula –all within just 6 miles reach.
Further afield, there’s the buzz of Southampton and Portsmouth and the splendour of the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury. Not to forget numerous secret gems to discover, perfect for a day out – whether heading in to the countryside or out along the coastline – and all peppered with delightful pubs, tea rooms and cafés to refresh even the most jaded palate.
At Coast the sands and the water's edge are a minute or two away. Stroll through the Gardens to The Square - a five minute walk - and you are in the heart of the town. Department stores, boutique shopping, amazing restaurants and bars - it's all here.
Almost next door to Coast is the Bournemouth International Centre, venue for concerts, shows and entertainment events of every description, and from some of the apartments at Coast you have the best seat in town for the Friday Night Fireworks and the annual Bournemouth Air Festival.
Twenty minutes walk brings you to the station, where two trains an hour run to London Waterloo in as little as 110 minutes. Also within walking distance - or by frequent bus - are golf courses, gyms, cinemas, casinos, as well as some of the south coast's most cutting-edge nightclubs.
