The Ainscough Family

County Durham couple, Chris and Helen, have found a home perfect for their family at Taylor Wimpey North East’s Eden Gardens development in Sedgefield.

After looking for a place that provided plenty of room for themselves and their three children, Chris and Helen viewed the Downham style show home at the development, where they were besotted with the property’s family-focused layout. 

“When the show homes opened back in 2018, we fell in love with the development and had our hearts set on owning a Taylor Wimpey home,” Helen said. 

“I would constantly peruse Instagram and follow hundreds of new-build home accounts, just to see what the process of buying with Taylor Wimpey was like. Seeing people’s positive homebuying experiences made the decision even easier when it came to choosing a developer. 

“As soon as we viewed the Downham show home, we immediately felt right at home – I even have photos of my son with his shoes off, lying down on the couch!”

The four-bedroom detached property features an open plan kitchen/dining area, with French doors leading to the garden. A separate lounge provides an area to wind-down and relax, whilst upstairs includes four bedrooms providing homeowners with ample space.

Helen continued: “Not only did the property tick all of our boxes, but the area really is a dream location. It’s so close to our children’s schools, as well as our family and plenty of amenities situated within easy reach – we really couldn’t have asked for more! 

“As soon as we decided to reserve the home, the sales team – Toni, Denise, Sharon and Lyndsay, were there every step of the way. 

 “The day we moved in, Toni even dropped by just to check how we were getting on. It was little touches like this that made the process exciting and easier, especially when moving with three kids and working two full time jobs! 

“We have waited so long to live in a property like this and now we do, we have to pinch ourselves. We are so delighted with the whole experience and can’t believe we have found our dream home!”
