Three years of saving results in dream home for Market Weighton couple

Getting on that first rung of the property ladder requires some financial sacrifice but thanks to three years saving together, one couple from Market Weighton is happily settled into their new home on the picturesque Foxley Meadows development.
Emily Rymchuk and Nathan Redpath moved back in with parents and pulled their finances together to create a healthy deposit and secure their first home. The pair already had a Help to Buy ISA in place from their bank when they started house-hunting and purchased the three-bedroom semi-detached home after one viewing.
Emily explains how the couple fell in love with their now first home: “Originally, we had looked at houses from other developments in the area but when we saw the Foxley Meadows sign go up, we held fire until the show homes were open to the public.
“When we were guided around the homes, we couldn’t believe how spacious they were compared to others we had viewed. It’s a very peaceful location and the garden is a manageable size for a couple without much gardening experience.”
The couple moved into their new Gosford home, which sits alongside a range of three- and four-bedroom homes, at the end of last year and celebrated with copious amounts of champagne. The property boasts a master bedroom with en suite, a generous lounge and spacious fitted kitchen with open plan dining area with French doors leading to the garden.
Ross Clarkson, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, comments: “It’s always wonderful when we hear how happy someone is with their new home. Emily and Nathan were very well organised when it came to having their own finances in place but for those who don’t, the Taylor Wimpey finance schemes can be the difference between securing your forever home and it remaining a pipe dream.
“Taylor Wimpey has a range of special offers to suit all types of buyer - from our help to buy scheme to offers for first time buyers, part exchange and existing home owner offers, no matter your financial situation, owning a new home could be easier than you think.”
Emily concludes. “We are absolutely over the moon with the service we have had from Taylor Wimpey. We were regularly checked in on and updated with each process up to completion. The team allowed us to have numerous appointments around our working hours and helped us with understanding the plots and plans whilst the development was being built.
“Everyone we spoke to was very knowledgeable and always gave us a quick answer to any questions we had and any issues or snags have been sorted instantly.”
Ross adds: “We hope Emily and Nathan will continue to be delighted with their new home and we look forward to welcoming more residents to Foxley Meadows over the coming months.”
