The local area has a variety of shops and services, and also benefits from being within the catchment area for a number of ‘outstanding’ rated primary and secondary schools.
Harts Mead development has two character zones ‘The Green Link’ which runs from the site entrance to the Eastern boundary and to the pedestrian link to the Northern boundary. The ‘Green Link’ corridor uses ‘Forterra Ingleborough Buff’ and a smooth red contrasting brick with a ‘ Russel Grampian’ peat brown roof tile. The remainder of the development sits under the ‘Village Heart’ character zone which uses a ‘Wienerberger Crofter Medley’ with a contrasting smooth red brick and a ‘Russell Grampian slate grey’ roof tile. The design of the development has taken into consideration the primary roads within the development to provide easy navigation around the site.
The new play area located on the development offers a natural meeting point and is a safe space for families to enjoy the outdoors. A new balancing pond ensures good drainage for residents whilst offering a green space for wildlife to flourish.
You will also find plenty of views at the local existing country park Daisy Nook, ideal for exercise and wellbeing.
