    Blackley is a city suburb to the north of marvellous Manchester, surrounded by parks and lying in a meander of the River Irk.
    The area boasts some excellent green spaces, notably Boggart Hole Clough with its boating lake, the community woodland of Blackley Forest and the enormous 650-acre Heaton Park, which forms the grounds of the Grade I listed 18th century mansion Heaton Hall.
    There’s a good choice of local shops along Victoria Avenue, plus a large Sainsbury’s supermarket near Heaton Park.  Regular buses and Metros take you into the vibrant city centre.
    Meanwhile, Blackley has a wide choice of primary and secondary schools providing education for children of all ages


    Driving directions from the M60
    Leave the M60 at junction 20, joining the A664/Rochdale Road towards Manchester city centre. Follow the road for approximately one mile, then turn left on to Charlestown Road. Follow the road for approximately half a mile and you will arrive at Booth Hall on your left hand side.
