    Schools include the independent Bolton School, founded in 1524, and a host of strong state schools including the dynamic Bolton Sixth Form College.

    From the M66

    Leave the M66 at junction 2, joining the A58 heading
    west towards Bolton. Follow the A58 for approximately
    6 miles, turning right at the traffic lights onto Crompton
    Way. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 miles and
    you will see Spinning Green on your left hand side.

    From the M61

    Leave the M61 at junction 6, joining the A6027 heading
    east towards Horwich & Bolton. Go straight over the
    first roundabout, and take the 2nd exit at the next
    roundabout, joining the A673 towards Bolton. Follow
    the road for approximately 1.6 miles, then turn left at
    the traffic lights joining the A58. Follow the road for
    approximately 3.8 miles, going through one roundabout,
    and you will see Spinning Green on your right hand side.
