Development Layout

Location

Surrounded by the South Downs National Park, Oak Park in east Hampshire is nicely positioned for travel to London or the south coast with its attractive seaside towns.

Liphook’s endearing village centre is a walkable 0.7 miles away and holds everything you could expect from local shops. From banks and pharmacies to takeaways and florists, all your daily needs are catered for. For a larger shopping trip, Sainsbury’s superstore is only 1 mile away by car and provides all the variety and choice you would expect. Local towns such as Haslemere and Petersfield bring more variety to the region with big brands and familiar names that make shopping that more enjoyable*.

When it comes to dining out, if you want a break away from local takeaways or pubs, then nearby historic inns have good menus and welcoming firesides. Further afield towns closer to the coast such as Chichester with Wagamamas and other well-known restaurants provide a richer choice.

For entertainment local Liphook Millennium Hall puts on occasional events while Haslemere Hall, an early 20th century theatre and arts venue in local Haslemere, is ideal for a night out. With films, plays, music and events all year long the Hall is highly regarded in the region.

The Living Room Cinema transforms the empty Anchor Garage into a dynamic new cinema which has now opened its doors.  Screening quality films in intimate surroundings in the heart of the Liphook community.

Alternatively, visit the famous Champneys Forest Mere Hotel & Spa or spend a day out at the South Downs National Park.  Old Thorns Manor Hotel Golf & Country Estate under a mile away is an ideal stylish retreat with excellent facilities such as its spa, golf course and bars.

Schools in the area are very local. Liphook Infant School or the CofE Junior School are 0.7 miles away, and Bohunt School, a secondary school with academy status, is conveniently only half-a-mile from Oak Park*.

Set in the South Downs with its rolling hills and bustling market towns, Oak Park is perfectly placed for discovering footpaths, rolling farmland, ancient woodland and lowland heaths with picture-book villages and their traditional pubs.

From Farnham and Aldershot to further south such as Portsmouth and Worthing, you will find Oak Park ideally positioned for travel across the region. The main arterial route heading south west and north east is the A3 which is only 0.7 mile away. London is 50 miles, Worthing 38, Portsmouth 28, Chichester 23, and the seaside at Bognor Regis just 26 miles*.

The village has its own station, Liphook, which is a short 1.3 mile drive. The frequent trains can take you to Guildford in 25 minutes, Portsmouth 50 and Waterloo in 64 minutes*.

And if you’re looking to fly Gatwick is 42 miles away, while Southampton is only 36 miles to the south east*.

STU6716_Taylor-Wimpey-Icon-HTB-England-4-DreamHome

This is one of just a few homes that is still eligible for the current Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, which is open to both first time buyers and existing homeowners and means you'll need just 5% deposit to buy a new home. From April 2021, the price cap for Help to Buy will depend on the area you live in, and the scheme will be offered exclusively to first time buyers.

With the current Help to Buy scheme, the Government will lend you up to 20% of the value of your new build home via an equity loan. You will need to secure up to a 75% mortgage and put down a 5% deposit. You’ll own 100% of your home from day one.
