The independent school Egerton Rothesay neighbours Bearroc Park, providing education for pupils aged 5-19 who require some form of additional support because of a specific educational need.

    The Hospice of St Francis celebrates being our 2017 charity of the year

    We have gifted Berkhamsted based charity, The Hospice of St Francis, a cheque for £27,300 after choosing them as our charity of the year for 2017.

     

    This is the highest donation the hospice has ever received from a charity of the year partnership and the funds will go towards converting and transforming its Spring Centre into a space to deliver essential rehabilitation for patients in a comfortable environment. Throughout 2017 we held a golf day, an easter raffle, a poker night and a number of dress down days to raise money for the hospice.

     

    The Hospice of St Francis provides free, expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in West Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire. It also supports their families, carers and those close to them as Kate Phipps-Wiltshire, CEO at The Hospice of St Francis confirms: “For those who use our services, the care we provide is invaluable and our services help entire families during what is a very difficult time. To be chosen as Taylor Wimpey North Thames’ charity for 2017 was absolutely amazing news. Their donation will make a huge difference and will help us to continue and further our work going forward into 2018.”
