    Set in the shallow valley of the River Rib, Buntingford resonates its heritage through the numerous listed buildings in the area, some dating back through the centuries to the 1600s adding to this town’s classical English charm.

    Just off the High Street lies the Layston Court Gardens originally belonging to Layston Court House, which was built in the early 15th century.     Sporting activities are well catered for in the Buntingford area with the Seth Ward Community Centre recreation ground’s two football pitches and The Ward Freman Swimming Pool and Solarium.
