We're proud to name Isabel Hospice as our charity of the year
We’re proud to name Isabel Hospice as our charity of the year. To lend our support, we’ll be hosting a number of fundraising events throughout the year to help them continue their work.
Based in East Hertfordshire, Isabel Hospice focuses on enhancing the quality of life of patients living with life-limiting illnesses such as end stage heart, renal or lung conditions, cancer, dementia and complex neurological conditions such as MND. They aim to work alongside other healthcare providers to increase the number of people they can help over the next five years, and have a target of raising £5 million so that the hospice can continue to care for people, earlier in their journey.
Peter Gurr, Managing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “We’re delighted to announce that Isabel Hospice is our charity of the year. The services that they provide are incredibly important to the local community and we’re looking forward to raising funds to help them continue the fantastic work that they do. Being able to work with local businesses and organisations that surround our developments means a great deal to us and it’s great to know that we can help to make a difference to the lives of people in the local communities.”
