New homes in Folkestone

Seaview Court at Shorncliffe Heights is a collection of 8 new four bedroom homes located on the former MOD Shorncliffe Garrison barracks in Folkestone.

Over time, Shorncliffe Heights will deliver a range of new facilities for residents and the wider community to enjoy, including a pavilion, sports pitches, a doctor’s surgery and play areas. With a host of existing amenities including a post office, local convenience stores and a choice of primary schools nearby, Seaview Court at Shorncliffe Heights is a great place to call home.

Seaview Court at Shorncliffe Heights is part of the wider redevelopment of the former MOD Shorncliffe Garrison barracks, which will comprise up to 1,200 new homes. The development is shaping up to be an exciting new community and many new residents have already settled into their new homes.

The small collection of homes at Seaview Court will benefit from an outlook towards the coast, with a vast area of public open space on the doorstep. The houses have been designed with the history of the site in mind and offer residents the opportunity to become part of a brand new community, rich in local heritage.

Green open spaces

With a large area of open space behind the homes, residents of Seaview Court can enjoy the great outdoors without travelling far. A little further away from the development, Seabrook Valley, which leads to the coast, is perfect for weekend walks, while Brockhill Country Park has lots of wildlife to discover along with picnic and play areas.

A house is more than just a home, it’s also about the community that surrounds it. That’s why we’re invested in building communities that support local businesses, provide much needed facilities for the area and bring people together.

To support the growing community in Folkestone and the wider Shorncliffe Heights development, we’ll be providing over £3million towards primary education, £167,000 towards local libraries and £445,000 towards the maintenance of open spaces as part of our planning obligations. We will also be providing £80,000 to Folkestone and Hythe District Council towards public rights of way improvements, £25,000 for improvements to cycle routes, £880,000 towards local bus services and £25,000 towards works at the A20 Cheriton High Street/Risborough Lane signals junction. In addition we will be carrying out significant road improvements in the area.
