Homes for sale

Just six miles from home is Leicester city centre, for a host of shopping, leisure and entertainment opportunities, including one of the region’s premier shopping destinations – Highcross shopping mall – which features a flagship John Lewis department store and 12-screen cinema complex.

The iconic Curve theatre forms the centrepiece of Leicester’s cultural quarter, while the city can also lay claim to having Europe’s largest outdoor covered market.

The rugged open spaces of Bradgate Park and the National Space Centre nearby offer great family days out, while the O2 Academy and De Montfort Hall ensure Leicester is firmly on the live entertainment map.

For families, schools are close by, including The Merton Primary School, which lies just a half-mile walk from the new homes, while secondary schooling is also within walking distance in Syston or neighbouring Thurmaston.

There’s also a choice of well-regarded universities within easy reach – The University of Leicester, De Montfort University and Loughborough University.

Commuters will appreciate the proximity of the A607 for quick links to Leicester city centre, and the A6 and A46 for easy access to the M1 and M69 and destinations across the country.

Meanwhile, Syston railway station is within walking distance and offers direct services to Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Lincoln

Help to Buy: Equity Loan

This is one of just a few homes that is still eligible for the current Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, which is open to both first time buyers and existing homeowners and means you'll need just 5% deposit to buy a new home. From April 2021, the price cap for Help to Buy will depend on the area you live in, and the scheme will be offered exclusively to first time buyers.

With the current Help to Buy scheme, the Government will lend you up to 20% of the value of your new build home via an equity loan. You will need to secure up to a 75% mortgage and put down a 5% deposit. You’ll own 100% of your home from day one.

Find out more about how the Help to Buy scheme works.

Help to Buy: Equity Loan – Terms and conditions apply. Applicants should seek independent financial advice, and get information and guidance on applying for a Help to Buy: Equity Loan at www.helptobuy.gov.uk.
