Supporting the local
Wimpey is making a significant investment in the local community as part of the
Morland Gardens development through a planning agreement with Vale of White Horse District Council.
the Section 106 agreement, approximately £750,000 has gone towards school and
library upgrades, £300,000 on sports and leisure facilities, £220,000 towards
highway improvements and £80,000 to improve the bus services. All this is part
of our continuing commitment to improving the communities where we build.
What's happening when?
consent for Morland Gardens was granted on 7th September 2015 and
initial works to prepare for construction took place at the site off Drayton
Road the end of November 2015.
We are looking forward to welcoming our first residents into their new homes later
this year with work at the development due to take 30 months to complete.
