    Meet the team

Introducing Lauren and Charlotte, who have recently joined the team at Longford Park as Sales Executives.

Their dedication to the job means that those choosing a brand new property at Longford Park can be sure of receiving exceptional customer service as well as a stunning high-quality property.

Lauren and Charlotte will help purchasers every step of the way, helping them find their perfect match, providing information about the helpful homebuyer incentives on offer to make moving even easier, and giving advice on the interior Options available for their new home.

Charlotte says: “The best part of the job is meeting new people and being involved with one of the biggest purchases of their lives. It’s so rewarding to see people’s faces when they view their homes throughout the different stages of the build, especially the final product at the end.”

Lauren adds: “Longford Park has so many amenities to suit different people. With a new primary school on the development as well as a new retail park in Banbury the development has a nice buzz about it and there’s a huge range of house types meaning there is something for everyone!”

    New school set to open

A new primary school is due to openon the Longford Park development inSeptember 2017.

The £4.6 million Longford Park Primary School will initially teach nursery children and those in Reception, expanding each year until it eventually caters for pupils through to Year 6.

It is part of the £9.3m being invested in facilities and infrastructure at Longford Park under the consortium’s commitments to the community.

Money will also go to improving existing public services and infrastructure, such as roads, social care and libraries, while three children’s play areas and a multi-use games area will be created at the development.

    What Banbury Means to Me

Creative children from a Banbury school declared their love for their local area in a recent competition we organised.

We teamed up with Harriers Banbury Academy to launch a contest to celebrate the local area with all Year 3 pupils at the school invited to take part.

The ‘What Banbury Means to Me’ competition saw youngsters submit artwork expressing their thoughts about their hometown and illustrating what they love about the community.

The winner was Joseph Cockerill, of Kingfisher Class, who received a £100 book token while Lindsey and Lilia, both of Toucan Class, were the runners-up.

    Meet the happy home-buyers

First-time buyers Hollie Sprake and Rob Lightfoot moved into their brand  new three-bedroom ‘Flatford’ home at the development in October last year – and have nothing but praise for how the home-buying process worked and the support they received.

Forensic scientist Hollie, 28, says: “We outgrew our one-bedroom flat in Abingdon and really wanted a threebedroom home. We were able to use the Help to Buy scheme here and the sales team were so helpful. They kept us informed every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble.”

Laboratory storeman Rob, 31, adds: “They really helped with all the paperwork and continued to be a big help even after the sales process. We couldn’t be happier and there’s a real
    sense of community here.”

    Consortium re-brand

Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire and its consortium partners behind Longford Park are delighted with the new re-branding of the development.

The new logo has an elegant gold leaf as a reference to Oxfordshire’s natural landscapes and abundance of oak trees. Banbury is also included in the design to show the importance of place and community at Longford Park.

The re-branding also comes with a new website which beautifully showcases Longford Park’s idyllic location and allows visitors to find out more about the homes available from each developer. The simple, elegant design makes navigation effortless and gives a classic, polished look.
