        The village has a small number of shops including a Spar convenience store, a baker, butcher, pharmacy, post office, garden centre and several takeaways. It also has a library, social/sports hall, playing fields, children's play area, GP and dental practices and a much loved and extremely well supported Community Centre. There are several friendly pubs and restaurants within the immediate area. Families with children will be pleased to know there are two primary schools in the village with secondary schools in Thame and Watlington.
