        Location

The new homes at Scarlett Oaks are just a short walk from Shifnal’s charming
and attractive town centre, which features a central Conservation Area boasting
        handsome Georgian architecture.
The town offers an excellent selection of independent shops, and an eclectic mix
of cafes, pubs and restaurants for all occasions, including artisan coffee shops,
wine bars, cuisine from around the world and fine dining. The elegant Park
House Hotel is just a five-minute walk from the new homes.
Meanwhile, there’s everything you need for day-to-day living within Shifnal,
including a supermarket, a medical centre, a dental practice and a library, while a
busy calendar of events enhances the town’s thriving community feel.
Sports facilities in Shifnal are good too: Idsall Sports Centre has a sports hall,
gym and fitness suite as well as football pitches, a floodlit all-weather pitch and
        eight floodlit tennis courts.
Keen golfers will appreciate that Shifnal Golf Club, with its Regency-style
clubhouse, is one of the best golf courses in the county, and was the venue
for the PGA Midland Championships 2015.
Telford is just four miles to the west, putting a wealth of additional shopping,
leisure and entertainment opportunities within easy reach, including more
than 160 stores as well as Oakengates Theatre, Telford Ice Rink and Telford
        Snowboard and Ski Centre.

        Education

Scarlett Oaks is well situated for easy access to well-regarded schools for
        children of all ages.
St Andrew’s CE Primary School is located very close to the new homes, off
Park Lane, and was rated ‘good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection, as
were Shifnal Primary School and Idsall School for secondary-age students.

        Transport links

Shifnal railway station is just over half a mile from Scarlett Oaks, so is ideal
for commuters looking to take advantage of regular, direct services to
Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury.
Meanwhile, Junction 4 of the M54 is just two miles away for access to Telford
and Shrewsbury, while Junction 3 is four miles from home for quick links east
to Birmingham and the wider motorway network.

        Help to Buy

The Government backed Help to Buy scheme is available here. The scheme is open to both first time buyers and home movers alike, and means you'll need just 5% deposit to buy a new home.

With Help to Buy, the Government will lend you up to 20% of the value of your new build home via an equity loan. You will need to secure up to a 75% mortgage and put down a 5% deposit. You’ll own 100% of your home from day one.

Help to Buy is also available in conjunction with our easymover scheme, which means we could help you sell your existing home and pay your estate agent fees. Find out more about how the Help to Buy scheme works.

        Easymover

Easymover is available here, which means you could reserve a new Taylor Wimpey home at this development - even if you haven't sold your existing property.

And that's not all. With easymover, we'll make your house move as stress free as possible. We'll liaise with your estate agent on your behalf, we'll pay their fees and we'll manage the whole house selling process - making your life so much easier! Take a look at our easymover page for more information.

Terms and conditions apply to the Easymover scheme.
