Meet your Caddies Field team

The team at Caddies Field work together to make sure every aspect of the home-buying purchase - from laying the first brick to handing over the keys - is as smooth as it can possibly be. Planning, production and sales all play vital roles in any Taylor Wimpey development. Read on to find out more about the team at Caddies Field.

Caddies Field Meet The Team 1

Emma Hodgkinson, Sales Executive

“I’ve worked for Taylor Wimpey for many years, starting in the Customer Service department before becoming a Sales Executive in 2007.

“My role involves meeting visitors to the development who are looking to buy a new home, and guiding them through this exciting time of buying a new home with information about the development and the surrounding area.

“My role is very varied and my day-to-day activities include progressing sales, liaising with solicitors, contacting new and existing customers and helping purchasers to personalise their new home with their option choices. I work very closely with all our current purchasers and with the site manager through the Taylor Wimpey customer journey process.

“We arrived at Caddies Field when our fabulous showhomes opened in February. We have been warmly welcomed by local residents and seen a positive response to the mix of homes available to buy here.”

Mick Pountney, Senior Site Manager

“I have worked for Taylor Wimpey for 34 years. I started as an Assistant Site Manager and progressed through the ranks to become Senior Site Manager in 1995 - a job I have held to the present day.

“My role is to manage everything on site, from health and safety to build progress and customer queries and concerns.

“It’s always exciting to start a new site, but the great location means Caddies Field has been particularly enjoyable to work on. It’s a nice place to live, near Wellington centre and next to a very good golf course, but also close to good motorway links.”

Shaun O’Connor, Assistant Site Manager

“I’ve worked for Taylor Wimpey for the past 11 years. I started as a Management Trainee aged just 16, and learned every aspect of the business. My role now is predominantly to help the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site - and to deputise when necessary.

“At Caddies Field specifically, that involves ordering materials, co-ordinating labour, liaising with clients and - most importantly - maintaining a consistent level of quality and workmanship.

“I’ve worked in this area for a few years now, so I can safely say that the location of Caddies Field is idyllic. The area has excellent transport links and local schools for parents to choose from.

“The site itself has a great mix of houses with the local infrastructure to suit. We are five minutes from the shops, five minutes from the motorway and five minutes from tranquillity in the countryside.”
