Emma Hodgkinson, Sales Executive
“I’ve worked for Taylor Wimpey for many years, starting in the Customer Service department before becoming a Sales Executive in 2007.
“My role involves meeting visitors to the development who are looking to buy a new home, and guiding them through this exciting time of buying a new home with information about the development and the surrounding area.
“My role is very varied and my day-to-day activities include progressing sales, liaising with solicitors, contacting new and existing customers and helping purchasers to personalise their new home with their option choices. I work very closely with all our current purchasers and with the site manager through the Taylor Wimpey customer journey process.
“We arrived at Caddies Field when our fabulous showhomes opened in the February. We have been warmly welcomed by local residents and seen a positive response to the mix of homes available to buy here, and I'll be sad to not work in Wellington once our development is all moved in to.”
Michael Carnell, Site Manager
Michael Carnell, Site Manager at Taylor Wimpey’s Caddies Field development, is celebrating having won a prestigious national house-building award. Out of over 16,000 entries, Michael was honored with a NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality Award.
Michael said: “It’s a fantastic honour, not just for me, but the whole team at Caddies Field to have won a Pride in the Job Quality Award, I’m absolutely delighted. The whole team works incredibly hard and takes great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.
“For anyone who has purchased a new home at Caddies Field, I would highly recommend making the most of your ‘Meet the Builder’ appointments, where you’ll be able to track the progress of your home’s build status, from foundations until fully complete.
“The whole team at Caddies Field, both on site and in the Sales Office, are fully committed to making a customer’s homebuying journey as smooth and stress-free as possible. I am very proud of the dedication and pride each member of the Taylor Wimpey team at Caddies Field shows each day to be building high quality homes.”
Sam Harvey, Assistant Site Manager
“I joined Taylor Wimpey as a trainee assistant site manager and while in this role, I obtained a Higher National Certificate in Built Environment.
“I’ve recently been promoted to an assistant site manager, and I work closely with Michael with the day-to-day running of the site, as well as providing updates for the sales team.
“I’m so proud to work for Taylor Wimpey at Caddies Field. The whole team is committed to providing customers with the best quality homes and service.”
Pat Sharrad, Sales Executive
“I’ve been working in the homebuilding industry for 30 years, and my career with Taylor Wimpey North Midlands began in 2013, when I joined the team as a Sales Executive.
“During my time at Taylor Wimpey, I’ve worked at many developments but Caddies Field is my favourite by far. The site is in a great semi-rural location, has access to brilliant local facilities and the people of Wellington are lovely and friendly.
“My main role is to guide and advise purchasers throughout their homebuying journey, as well as liaise with mortgage advisors, solicitors, estate agents and local authorities to name a few.
“I love helping customers find and personalise their dream home to suit their every need. I guide customers through our new options online portal, where they are able to visualise their future kitchen and choose additional extras.
“For anyone looking for a new home in Wellington, I’d recommend that you pop to the development and see what we have to offer.”
