Elmswell has the benefit of a station with trains taking 12 minutes to Bury St Edmunds, 26 minutes to Ipswich, or 55 minutes to Cambridge. The A14 which passes Elmswell winds itself across country and leads to Cambridge and the North as well as Ipswich and the east coast via major routes such as the A11 and A12.
