Kirton is a village of restful gardens, pleasant lanes, village greens, cottages and country house set back from the road bordering farm fields. Professionally designed and traditionally built these homes in this East Suffolk countryside location are only 4.5 miles from Felixstowe with all of it's everyday facilities such as supermarkets, cinemas, schooling, restaurants and coastal attractions. With major routes such as the A12 towards London or the East coast, and Felixstowe station 4 miles away, Violet Gardens is well placed for travel.

The name Kirton comes from the Anglo-Saxon for "the place of church", and Kirton is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Sandwiched between the scenic estuaries of the River Deben and Orwell, and surrounded by beautiful East Anglian farming countryside, Kirton is in the very heart of rural surroundings yet moments from the bustle of Felixstowe and everything the coastal town offers.

Nearby villages with their own amenities and interests expand horizons and Felixstowe itself has the shops, cafes, bars and pubs together with restaurants and entertainment you would expect of a coastal town. Facilities like community centres, libraries, medical centres and vets can be found in Felixstowe as can the surrounding wide outdoors. Coastal walks and breathtaking scenery together with golf courses, parks and facilities for fishing, horse riding and sailing make this a rich neighbourhood for leisure activities.

the village is a close community with hobbyists sharing their interests and groups such as sailing, line dancers, yoga, parent and toddler or dance groups meet regularly, and in and around Kirton there are many organisations from Brownies to Scouts and flower clubs to parent and toddler groups.

Felixstowe itself is an Edwardian seaside town, with beach and pier and traditional seaside entertainments together with the Languard Fort build in the 17th century and updated through two world wars- now an English Heritage centre. Known for its container port Felixstowe has shopping and amenities for all and enjoys the North Sea facing aspects of the area.

Ipswich in the opposite direction is the county town of Suffolk and is located on the River Orwell. An ancient town, possibly one of the oldest, it has grown into a superb shopping and entertainment centre, surrounded by shopping centres and parks with a splendid marina rivalling Katherine's Dock in London.

Education is catered for with pre-school at Ofsted-registered Woodland Pals pre-school (http://www.woodlandpalspreschoolkirton.co.uk/) in the village, and primary at Trimley St Martin Primary School (http://www.trimleystmartinprimaryschool.com), with secondary education at Felixstowe Academy (http://www.felixstoweacademy.org).

Travel is simple and easy with open roads leading east and west. The A14 takes you to Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and beyond, and the A12 takes you south towards London or north along the coast to Great Yarmouth. Felixstowe station is only 4.1 miles away, with 10 miles to Ipswich station, and the nearest airport is Standsted, just 55 miles away

  • Personalise your home

    Style your new home

Did you know you could personalise your new home even before you move in?

Once you've reserved, your Sales Executive will arrange a Choices and Options Meeting, where you’ll get your opportunity to choose from a wide range of upgrades and optional extras.

You could choose tiles, flooring, kitchens, white goods, lighting… and many more features and fittings besides. And because we build many options in as we construct your new home, you’ll have more choices the earlier you reserve. Your Sales Executive will tell you the options available to you at each stage.

Once you've chosen your optional extras, you can discuss the different ways you could pay for them with your Sales Executive. Then all that’s left for you to do is to move into your new home with everything already installed and working!

    Help to Buy

The Government backed Help to Buy scheme is available here. The scheme is open to both first time buyers and home movers alike, and means you'll need just 5% deposit to buy a new home.

With Help to Buy, the Government will lend you up to 20% of the value of your new build home via an equity loan. You will need to secure up to a 75% mortgage and put down a 5% deposit. You’ll own 100% of your home from day one.

Help to Buy is also available in conjunction with our easymover scheme, which means we could help you sell your existing home and pay your estate agent fees. Find out more about how the Help to Buy scheme works.

Easymover is available here, which means you could reserve a new Taylor Wimpey home at this development - even if you haven't sold your existing property.
