    Great Park town centre now under construction

    The epicenter of the popular Brunton Grange & Brunton Green developments has begun a further phase of construction this month (April 2016).

    Great Park town centre will eventually house a range of uses for local residents, including shops, cafes and bars/restaurants.

    Newcastle City Council approved the town centre planning application in March 2016, submitted by the NGP project office, they are now working hard to ensure a smooth construction, minimising disruption to current residents of the developments surrounding the area.

    Gosforth Bohemian Football Club is celebrating after scoring kit sponsorship for its under-17s team, from leading homebuilder, Taylor Wimpey North East, for the second year running.

     

    The team was launched last year as under-16s, coinciding with the club’s 120th year anniversary, with Taylor Wimpey providing home kit sponsorship and training equipment to get the team off to a flying start.

     

    Michael Wood, Gosforth Bohemian club coach says: “Setting up the U16’s team was a fantastic achievement for us last year, and having the support from Taylor Wimpey meant our new team was kitted out from the first whistle.

     

    “A year on, the team has gone from strength to strength, with new players joining all the time. Thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s continued generosity, it has ensured the team - now the U17s - continue to look the part for the second year in a row.”

     

    Gosforth Bohemian Football Club was first established in 1894, making it one of the oldest amateur clubs in the country.

     

    Karl Morton, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North East, comments: “We have been with the team since its birth, so it is an absolute pleasure and privilege to continue our partnership into the team’s second year.
