Leaving a legacy at Newcastle Great Park

MS Planting Daffs Brunton 1st School-1001
Pupils from Brunton First School, in Gosforth, have been getting green-fingered by planting 100 daffodil bulbs at the community football pitch on Roseden Way.

The bulbs are set to grow into a bright, floral tribute to the local area. As well as pupils of the Brunton First School, members of the local Taylor Wimpey team also joined in with the planting.

Sarah Northcott, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North East, says: “We are proud to be building a community at our Brunton West development in Newcastle Great Park and we want to leave a place that both our customers and local residents will enjoy long after we have finished building.

“We were thrilled to welcome volunteers from Brunton First School to help with the planting and we hope that the bulbs will grow into a lovely display that people of Newcastle Great Park will admire in years to come.”
