Taylor Wimpey gets children at Galley Common Infant School reading with donation for new books
Taylor Wimpey West Midlands has donated £50 in book vouchers to Galley Common Infant School in Nuneaton to celebrate World Book Day which took place on Thursday 1st March. World Book Day aims to encourage more children to love reading and Taylor Wimpey’s donation will go towards providing children in Galley Common Infant School with £50 of new books to enjoy.
Kay Middleton, Headteacher at Galley Common Infant School, which is located near to Taylor Wimpey’s Ribbonfields development commented: “I would like to say a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey on behalf of everyone at our school. We really appreciate their donation, which will go a long way towards new reading material. Books are a great way to fire up children’s imaginations and to teach them about the world around them, so it’s brilliant to be able to add some new titles to our school library.”
