YOUNG READERS IN WORCESTER START A NEW CHAPTER
    THANKS TO TAYLOR WIMPEY DONATION!

Children at Hanley Castle High School are looking forward to reading some fantastic new books, following a generous donation by Taylor Wimpey.

The leading local housebuilder, which is building new homes at its Elgar Park development in Kempsey, has given £100 to the school to fund new books for the school library.

It’s all part of World Book Day, a national event which aims to encourage children to enjoy reading, and which this year celebrates its 20th birthday.

Lindsey Cooke, Headteacher at Hanley Castle High School, says: “We are very grateful to Taylor Wimpey for this kind donation.

“It’s great to be able to add to the choice of books on offer in our library for the children to read and it’s also really inspiring for them to see how much a business like Taylor Wimpey values reading.

“Our eager readers are now really looking forward to getting stuck into their new books!”

The 20th annual World Book Day took place on Thursday 2nd March to celebrate authors, illustrators and books, and to get more children reading.

Elaine Cartwright, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Reading is such an important skill, as well as being great fun, so we are delighted to be making this donation to support Hanley Castle High School.

“It’s a great example of the way we are committed to supporting schools and other local organisations within the communities in which we build our new homes. We hope the children really enjoy these new books!”

    Help to Buy

The Government backed Help to Buy scheme is available here. The scheme is open to both first time buyers and home movers alike, and means you'll need just 5% deposit to buy a new home.

With Help to Buy, the Government will lend you up to 20% of the value of your new build home via an equity loan. You will need to secure up to a 75% mortgage and put down a 5% deposit. You’ll own 100% of your home from day one.

Help to Buy is also available in conjunction with our easymover scheme, which means we could help you sell your existing home and pay your estate agent fees. Find out more about how the Help to Buy scheme works.

    Part Exchange Plus

If you have a home to sell, Part Exchange Plus is perfect for you.

We'll make you an offer for your current property - based on independent valuations, and guaranteed for 6 weeks. In those 6 weeks, you can try to find a buyer who pays more - you can market the property at the same time as us, but are safe in the knowledge that you have got an offer from Taylor Wimpey.

If you find a buyer, great! The extra money is a bonus and all yours. AND we will still pay your estate agent's fees. Find our more about Part Exchange Plus.

    Easymover

Easymover is available here, which means you could reserve a new Taylor Wimpey home at this development - even if you haven't sold your existing property.

And that's not all. With easymover, we'll make your house move as stress free as possible. We'll liaise with your estate agent on your behalf, we'll pay their fees and we'll manage the whole house selling process - making your life so much easier! Take a look at our easymover page for more information.

Terms and conditions apply to the Easymover scheme.
