An appealing aspect of the Redding Wood development is how close it is to different transport links. Both the M80 and M876 are very convenient giving easy access to the whole central belt of Scotland.

Rail links around and about the famed River Forth are also good from Falkirk Station and for those travelling further there is both Edinburgh and Glasgow International Airports.

Redding is a small village on the revived Union Canal in Scotland. The nearest sizeable town is Falkirk, recently voted Scotland’s most beautiful town in a poll by STV.

Local highlights include the Falkirk Wheel, a rotating boat lift connecting two canals, historic mansion Callander House and impressive Stirling Castle.  Redding is also within striking distance of both Edinburgh (22 miles) and Glasgow (30 miles).

Falkirk boasts a large retail centre catering for a wide surrounding area. There’s a good pedestrianised high street, the Howgate shopping centre and a number of supermarkets on the periphery of the town.

Local primary schools include Wallacestone Primary and St Andrew’s Primary; local secondaries are Braes High School and St Mungo’s High School.
