    We've scored with support for local football team in Loanhead

    Loanhead tracksuits 1 - websize

    We have provided support for local community football in Loanhead by becoming the tracksuit sponsor for Loanhead Miners Youth FC under 16s team who play locally in Loanhead.

    Team secretary and coach Raymond Dunbar said:  “We’re thrilled to have received this support from Taylor Wimpey.  It cements a relationship that we hope to have with them for many years and their support for our club is gratefully received.  Our boys are now the proud owners of new tracksuits thanks to Taylor Wimpey, and we’re delighted to see them looking so smart as they approach every game.” Commenting on the sponsorship, Karen Armstrong, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said:  “We’re delighted to be supporting community football in Loanhead in this way, and we hope that our involvement will bring the team lots of luck in future matches.

    Help to Buy (Scotland)

    The Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Communities and Pensioners’ Rights, Mr Neil, launched the Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme on 21 January 2016.

    You'll need to contribute a minimum 85% of the purchase price of a home through a combination of a mortgage and your deposit. You'll be able to obtain assistance from the Scottish Government of up to a maximum of 15% of the purchase price. The Scottish Government equity stake will be by way of shared equity agreement and second-ranking.

    The maximum prices for the Help to Buy properties are as follows:

    • For financial year 2017/18 for transactions completing up to 31 March 2018, the threshold price is £200,000;
    • For financial year 2018/19 for transactions completing up to 31 March 2019, the threshold price will now remain at £200,000;
