Raven’s Cliff Gardens forms part of an overall masterplan that will transform the area to create Scotland’s first town in over 50 years.

Our development enjoys a central location within North Lanarkshire.  Both Motherwell and Wishaw are within easy reach of local amenities with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars.

There is a good choice of primary and secondary schools nearby, which makes Raven’s Cliff Gardens popular with families.

Homes for sale

Raven’s Cliff Gardens has exceptional transport links, with easy access to M73, M74 and M8 motorways making this the ideal location for those commuting to Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond.

Motherwell and Carfin train stations are both nearby which offer frequent services and can take you directly into Glasgow Central Station in just 20 minutes.

As part of a multi-million pound regeneration programme, the town of Ravenscraig will see the creation of community facilities which will include shops, schools, park leisure facilities and improved transport links.

The local area is packed full of sport and leisure options.  The new leisure facilities at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility are within easy reach of the development, which caters for a wide range of interests and ages.

Strathclyde County Park is also nearby offering a huge range of activities to keep the whole family amused.  The park is one of Scotland’s leading centres for outdoor recreation and offers activities such as sailing and water skiing.

We Give A Lesson In Safety To Local School Children In Ravenscraig

We recently gave the local children of Cathedral Primary School near Ravenscraig in Motherwell, some reminders about health and safety.

Construction of our new homes at Raven’s Cliff Gardens development, off Prospect Road in Motherwell is now in full swing, and we were keen to promote the dangers associated with playing near our construction site.  The visit gave us an opportunity to raise awareness of the children’s need to be extra vigilant as the building of our new homes progresses.

Being proactive with local schools has proven an effective deterrent in the past as Brian Henderson, Production Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland explains: “Health and safety in and around our construction areas is of vital importance to Taylor Wimpey.  Taking this type of proactive approach with local schools allows us to reinforce just how important it is for children to stay away from building sites, and it gives us the chance to remind the children that building sites are not playgrounds!”

Maria Shields, Head Teacher at Cathedral Primary School adds: “I was delighted to welcome the team from Taylor Wimpey into our school to highlight the dangers associated with children playing near any construction site.  It was the ideal opportunity for them to reinforce their safety message ahead of the school Christmas holidays when many of our pupils will be enjoying their time away from the classroom.

“It’s great that Taylor Wimpey understands the importance of our children’s safety, and has created such an interactive and proactive approach to appeal to our pupils.”
