    Ravenscraig is an area located near Motherwell in North Lanarkshire on the former site of Ravenscraig steelworks which were closed in 1992 and subsequently demolished.

    Three railway stations and two motorways make Motherwell a great base – a large, self-contained town, and yet only 20 minutes from Scottish powerhouse Glasgow by train.

    There are scores of things to do locally, including strolling by the loch in Strathclyde Country Park, visiting M&D’s Amusement Park, billed as “Scotland’s theme park” and exploring the historic (and allegedly haunted) Dalzell House.

    Shop in the outdoor Motherwell Shopping Centre, which has 85 stores, relax at Aquatec with its new gym and indoor/outdoor pools, and get your culture fix at Motherwell Concert Hall and Theatre, re-opened in 2011 after a £6m refurbishment.

    Motherwell has around a dozen primary schools, three secondaries and a further education college known as Motherwell College, with around 20,000 students.

    Once you've chosen your optional extras, you can discuss the different ways you could pay for them with your Sales Executive. Then all that’s left for you to do is to move into your new home with everything already installed and working!
