    Newton Farm is extremely well connected, and it is close to Newton rail station with services to Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as the M74, M8 and M73 motorways. Glasgow city centre is within very easy reach of the development.

    Cambuslang and neighbouring Uddingston are larger towns with plenty to keep you busy.  Local amenities such as shops, restaurants, bars are abundant in both towns which are both just a short distance from Newton Village.  There is a primary school in Newton village itself, plus there is a wide range of nursery, primary and secondary education that are also available in Cambuslang and Uddingston which makes this area popular with families.

    The broader area of South Lanarkshire boasts plenty to keep you active with a comprehensive range of activities well-catered for throughout the region including Cambuslang Park and its 27 acres of open park land to enjoy the outdoors.  Plus Kirkhill and East Kilbride golf clubs are within easy reach of the development.

    Help to Buy (Scotland)

    The Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Communities and Pensioners’ Rights, Mr Neil, launched the Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme on 21 January 2016.

    You'll need to contribute a minimum 85% of the purchase price of a home through a combination of a mortgage and your deposit. You'll be able to obtain assistance from the Scottish Government of up to a maximum of 15% of the purchase price. The Scottish Government equity stake will be by way of shared equity agreement and second-ranking.

    The maximum prices for the Help to Buy properties are as follows:

    • For financial year 2017/18 for transactions completing up to 31 March 2018, the threshold price is £200,000;
    • For financial year 2018/19 for transactions completing up to 31 March 2019, the threshold price will now remain at £200,000;
