A town steeped in history, Monmouth is perhaps best known as the birthplace of Henry V and boasts a whole host of historical sites, people and buildings from the Nelson Garden to The Town Hall.

The Monmouth market is held every Saturday outside The Shire Hall at the top of Monnow Street in Monmouth with traders selling a wide range of local produce. For the weekly shop, choose from Waitrose, The Co-Op, Tesco or Iceland, all not far from home.

You will never be short of things to do, whether you are feeling active and fancy a trip to Monmouth Leisure Centre or Monmouth Sports Club, or would rather sit back and watch at the Studio Cinema or The Savoy Theatre. For the sports fans, choose from football, rugby, tennis and a number of golf courses. Options for eating out are plentiful, whether you want Indian, Mexican or a pizza and for a night out there's The Bassment nightclub.

Nearby sights and attractions won't disappoint - you could visit the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, take a trip to Clearwell Caves or enjoy a day out at Dean Forest railway or tackle The Amazing Hedge Puzzle.

For those with children, education for all ages is easily accessible.

Getting out and about couldn't be easier, with no less than around 50 bus stops within a 4 mile radius. Monmouth offers easy access to Birmingham and West Midlands via the M5, M50 and A40. London, South East and Home Counties can be reached via the M4, M48, A449 and A466 while Bristol and the South West are accessed via the M5, M48, A449 and A466. For journeys further afield, Cardiff airport is close by.

For a home in a location with history, character and convenience, King's Wood Gate is the perfect place to put down roots.

  • Personalise your home

    Style your new home

Did you know you could personalise your new home even before you move in?

Once you've reserved, your Sales Executive will arrange a Choices and Options Meeting, where you’ll get your opportunity to choose from a wide range of upgrades and optional extras.

You could choose tiles, flooring, kitchens, white goods, lighting… and many more features and fittings besides. And because we build many options in as we construct your new home, you’ll have more choices the earlier you reserve. Your Sales Executive will tell you the options available to you at each stage.

Once you've chosen your optional extras, you can discuss the different ways you could pay for them with your Sales Executive. Then all that’s left for you to do is to move into your new home with everything already installed and working!
