We've been taking part in Macmillan Coffee Mornings this month - it's been tough work but all in the name of charity.
As part of their Macmillan Coffee Morning last week, our East Scotland team held a cupcake decorating competition that created 27 beautiful cupcakes to be judged by managing director Peter Matthews who was ably assisted by Marie Denholm. The winner was declared as Jacqui Moffat with her pretty bumblebee and flower design.
Donations of home baking for the coffee morning were also sold for staff to take home to enjoy, and a highly-contested ‘Spot the Cake’ competition to guess how many spots were on a cake resulted in Jordan Kirk being announced as winner.
The combined fundraising efforts of the coffee morning, bake sale, competitions and a recent dress down day has already raised £450 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support which continues to rise in true baking style thanks to donations from suppliers to the business.
