After coming to the rescue of a family whose removals arrangements fell through on moving day, Deano Dane has won our very first Customer Service National Recognition Award.
Deano, Head of Show Home Landscaping for our regional business Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, organised a team of people with vans to move Ian and Fran Cranage into their brand new home at our Grangewood Manor development in Leicester Forest East.
Mr Cranage explains: “On the day of moving, the removal company whom we employed had a problem with their van, which meant that the move would have needed to have been delayed.
“Deano came to the rescue – not only did he help with the move, he also organised for a team of people with vans to help and we were able to move on the day of completion, which we would not have achieved without his help. We were touched by his kindness, generosity and help.”
Deano was presented with John Lewis vouchers worth £50 for winning the award, which recognised his initiative, leadership, co-ordination and hard work.
