We’re absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted in the Diversity Star Performer: Recruitment of Talents category of this year’s national Diversity Awards in association with The Herald and GenAnalytics. The winners will be announced on Thursday 12 October 2017 in Glasgow.
Continuing our involvement in The Herald/Gen Analytics Diversity Awards for the second year recognises the importance that we have placed on diversity and inclusion within our business and the opportunity that it creates for the wider housebuilding industry.
Willie Burns, Managing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, adds: “Our ambition is to be an inclusive company which values people as individuals and creates a workforce that reflects the diversity of the local communities where we build new homes.
“Learning that we have been shortlisted for an award at this year’s Diversity Awards offers a great opportunity for us to reflect on the progress that our business has made, as well as meet other organisations that are as equally committed to diversity and inclusion as Taylor Wimpey and the positive benefits that they bring to our collective businesses.
“We’re excited to learn the outcome at the awards and we wish all shortlisted companies every success on the night."
