Pioneering digital technology which is helping property-hunters find out more about the new homes at Chobham Manor has won a national award.
Chobham Manor is the first residential neighbourhood on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, east London, and is being delivered by us and L&Q, one of London’s largest residential developers.
Taylor Wimpey and Wagstaffs – which supplied the state-of-the-art technology available for home-hunters to use at Chobham Manor – were announced as winners of a silver award in the ‘Best Use of Digital from the Property Sector’ category at this year’s Digital Impact Awards.
Using Wagstaffs’ pioneering software VUITNOW, home-hunters can enjoy virtual 3D tours of Chobham Manor and the Park via their iPad, or at one of four interactive 50in screens on a touchscreen table in our development’s Sales and Marketing Suite.
The VUITNOW tool offers a first-class perspective of the houses and apartments in both day and night mode and the opportunity for purchasers to create their own brochure and email it to themselves.
Michael O’Leary, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East London, says: “We’re delighted to have won this award for our use of digital technology at Chobham Manor, where visitors have been amazed by the easy, intuitive way they can explore the development and the homes here.”
Jason Hawthorne, MD of Wagstaffs says: “We were given an exciting brief by Taylor Wimpey, to deliver real leading-edge technology that would excite buyers and offer a fully immersive ‘try before you buy’ experience. VUITNOW not only acted as a focal point in the Sales and Marketing Suite, but also as a high-impact sales tool which the team at Taylor Wimpey loved as much as the visitors to the suite. We’re thrilled this technology has been recognised with this award.”
