Our West London’s Sandford Place at Loddon Park development has received two awards following this year’s Brownfield Briefing Awards for its continuous work to restore the landfill at Sandford Farm in Woodley. The first award, ‘Best Re-Use of Materials on a Project,’ was given to Taylor Wimpey for its efforts to make use of recycled material. Whilst the second award, ‘Best Project Closure / Verification Process’ acknowledged, Vertase, a leading Remediation Contractors and Environmental Consultants employed by us, for its verification work.
The event, which took place at Tower Hotel in London, is an annual awards ceremony set out to highlight the industry’s most impressive projects over the past 12 months. We received the award for our achievements in tackling the industry’s environmental challenges. We demonstrated this by recycling former landfill material and removing anything that could break down and produce carbon dioxide or methane, before beginning its project to build our Sandford Place at Loddon Park development.
Nikki Gibson, Sales and Marketing Director at West London, said: “We’re delighted to receive this great recognition and be awarded at the Brownfield Briefing Awards for our Sandford Place at Loddon Park development. It’s a fantastic achievement for the team who take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.”
