Site managers win national house building awards

Date: Friday 21 June 2013

Sixty eight Taylor Wimpey site managers across the UK are celebrating after winning prestigious national house building awards.

They beat off stiff competition from over 13,000 entries to be honoured with NHBC (National House Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality Awards. The awards recognise their dedication to building high quality homes for new home buyers and rank their Taylor Wimpey developments in the top three per cent of sites across the UK.

Pride in the Job Quality Awards are presented following a stringent judging process by NHBC inspectors who perform spot checks and continuous assessment of developments throughout the year. The Quality Awards also provide homebuyers with the assurance that the development provides top quality homes and excellent customer service.

Kevin Belsham, Taylor Wimpey’s sales and marketing director, adds: “These awards recognise the hard work of our teams on site who all take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards. We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service and this has ensured that we continue to be an NHBC award winning house builder year after year.”

Pride in the Job is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises the significant contribution of site managers who achieve the highest standards in new home construction. The scheme has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades. The regional events take place in the autumn, whilst the Supreme Awards gala final will be held in London in January 2014.
