Gary Williams, Site Manager at our Church View development in Hoo, Kent, is celebrating after receiving a prestigious NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality award. Out of 11,500 Site Managers from around the UK, Gary is one of 450 who have been recognised for their dedication to building high quality homes.
Now in its 40th year, Pride in the Job is highly regarded in the house-building industry. Quality awards are presented following a rigorous judging process by NHBC inspectors and Ivor’s win gives homebuyers the assurance that Taylor Wimpey provides top-quality homes and excellent customer service.
Gary said: “I’m delighted to have won a Pride in the Job award. It’s an honour not just for me, but for the whole team at Church View. They all work incredibly hard and take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.”
Sam Turner, Production Director at Taylor Wimpey South East, said: “We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service and we continue to be an NHBC award-winning housebuilder year after year. We’re incredibly proud of Gary and the team at Church View and this award is thoroughly deserved.”
Steve Wood, NHBC Chief Executive, said: “Pride in the Job has been pivotal in improving the quality of new homes so it’s fantastic to be able to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Despite the numerous challenges the industry has faced in recent times, the very best Site Managers of 2020 have kept their focus on delivering high quality new homes for their customers.
“As our new research shows, it’s no surprise that Pride in the Job winning sites have higher levels of homeowner satisfaction as these homes are without doubt among the best the country has to offer.”
