Ivor Richards, Site Manager at our Dukes Quarter development in Bordon, Hampshire, is celebrating after receiving a prestigious NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality award. Out of 11,500 Site Managers from around the UK, Ivor is one of 450 who have been recognised for their dedication to building high quality homes.
Now in its 40th year, Pride in the Job is highly regarded in the house-building industry. Quality awards are presented following a rigorous judging process by NHBC inspectors and Ivor’s win gives homebuyers the assurance that we provide top-quality homes and excellent customer service.
Ivor said: “I’m delighted to have won a Pride in the Job award. It’s an honour not just for me, but for the whole team at Dukes Quarter. They all work incredibly hard and take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.”
Mark Graves, Production Director at Taylor Wimpey South Thames, said: “We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service and we continue to be an NHBC award-winning housebuilder year after year. We’re incredibly proud of Ivor and the team at Duke’s Quarter and this is the second year running that they have achieved a Pride in the Job award. Ivor’s award is thoroughly deserved and we’ll be supporting him as he progresses to the regional heats in the coming weeks.”
Steve Wood, NHBC Chief Executive, said: “Pride in the Job has been pivotal in improving the quality of new homes so it’s fantastic to be able to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Despite the numerous challenges the industry has faced in recent times, the very best Site Managers of 2020 have kept their focus on delivering high quality new homes for their customers.
