Our North Thames team is proud to announce that our site manager at our Oakleigh Grove development in Whetstone, has won an NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Regional Award for London and the South East. Dean Chinsky has been presented with the award which recognises site managers and their teams who demonstrate excellence and commitment to producing homes of outstanding quality.
With over 16,000 site managers in the UK, Dean was placed in the top 40 across the UK and number 1 in the large housebuilder category for London and the South East. Winners are selected through a series of assessments carried out by NHBC inspectors and regular spot checks are implemented to ensure homebuyers that high-quality building standards and customer service are maintained throughout the year.
Commenting on the award and his role at Oakleigh Grove, Dean Chinsky said: “The NHBC awards are the highest acknowledgement of merit a Site Manager can receive in the housebuilding industry so it’s a huge achievement to receive a Pride in the Job Regional Award. The role of being a Site Manager is often challenging but there are so many rewarding factors that make the job so worthwhile. It’s been a pleasure to work on the Oakleigh Grove development - right from the site layout to the team involved.”
Nikki Gibson, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Thames, added: “We are very proud that Dean and the team have been awarded with the Pride in the Job Regional Award for London and the South East. We are committed to maintaining the highest level of quality and customer service at Taylor Wimpey and the Oakleigh Grove team has worked extremely hard to ensure that the homes we provide are consistently built to a high quality.”
In addition to winning the NHBC London and South East Regional Award, Dean and his team have also been shortlisted for the NHBC National Supreme Award, which is being held in London in January 2020.
Pride in the Job is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises the significant contribution of site managers who achieve the highest standards in new home construction. It has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades.
