Kew Midsummer Fete receives continued support

We’ve handed over a welcome donation to the organisers of the annual Kew Midsummer Fete for the fourth year running!

Our West London team, which is currently building high-quality new homes at our prestigious Emerald Gardens development in Kew, donated £2,000 in sponsorship to the popular event, which took place this year on Saturday 17th June.

A fun family event run solely by volunteers, the Kew Midsummer Fete features an exciting programme of attractions, including more than 100 trade stalls, a fantastic selection of food and drink, performances from acts representing local schools, performing arts clubs and bands, a vintage fairground, a tug of war competition, a charity raffle and the Friendly Dog Show, the highlight of the show for many.

“Kew Midsummer Fete has raised nearly £100,000 for local charities since its inception in 2010,” explains Michael Glazebrook, Chairman of the Kew Midsummer Fete Committee.
“In addition to the support of the local Kew community, we are very grateful for the contributions made by our sponsors, without whom this event would not be the huge success it has become. We are delighted that Taylor Wimpey returned as our Platinum sponsor for a fourth consecutive year.”

Emma Jones, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West London, says: “We take great pride in supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, so we are delighted to have sponsored the Kew Midsummer Fete for the fourth consecutive year.

“The fete is a fantastic local event that attracts people from far and wide, and we’re delighted that this year’s was bigger and better than ever before!”

There’s a wonderful selection of two bedroom apartments currently available at Emerald Gardens.
