Date: Thursday 23 June 2011

A range of stunning new show homes have been given the mayoral seal of approval– at Taylor Wimpey’s Regents Way development.

Councillor Tony Wallis, Mayor of Wakefield unveiled the three fully-dressed, deluxe properties at a special ceremony attended by local families, children and househunters.

Among those revealed at the VIP event, was the four bedroom, detached Hadleigh home – perfect for larger families or those looking for flexible living space, and the three bedroom Gosforth and Dunton homes.

Dressed in tones of black, gold and purple, the Hadleigh is a decadent treat, while the neutral tones of the Gosforth coupled with the stylish prints and mirrors give the home a contemporary, fresh feel. The Dunton, decked out in a tasteful cream and red colour scheme, is sure to impress

The development itself has already proved a big hit with buyers keen to take advantage of its ideal location and wide range of affordable homes.

As Anne Bagshaw, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, explains: “These latest show homes look absolutely fabulous – and can help buyers decide which type of property is best suited to them.

“Dressed and decorated to the very highest standard, they make it easy to visualise just how good life at Regent Way can be. We’re really excited about the launch of these show homes and having the Mayor down to open them was just the icing on the cake.”

Situated in Outwood, just north of Wakefield, Regents Way offers the chance to enjoy a taste of English village life within easy access of Leeds city centre
