We helped put the ‘fun’ into a family fun day in Romford – by donating £500 towards the event’s activities.

Swan Housing Association held the inaugural Oldchurch family fun day on Saturday 25th October in Jubilee Park, with over 100 people turning up to enjoy the occasion.

Our sponsorship provided funding for fun-filled activities such as face painting, balloon modelling, two bouncy castles, badge making and garden games – as well as a DJ and food and refreshments throughout the day.

Jennifer Murphy, chair of Union Crown Residents Association, says: “It was lovely to see residents from both Swan and Taylor Wimpey coming together to enjoy the event, we don’t really get an opportunity to meet like this.

“It’s amazing when organisations work together for the good of residents. I would like to thank Swan, Swan New Homes and Taylor Wimpey for bringing the day together.”

Michael O’Leary, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East London, says: “We were delighted to sponsor the Oldchurch family fun day, which was a huge success with plenty to do for everyone who came.

“As a local housebuilder, we are committed to helping the communities in which we build, and this is an excellent example of the way we can support groups and events which play an integral role in the local area.

“Our Sales Executives from Reflections joined the Swan Housing Association residents on the day, and they very much agreed that it was a fantastic event for people of all ages to come together and enjoy themselves, and we hope it can continue for many years.”

We are currently building high-quality homes at our Reflections development in Romford.
